A rum and chocolate tasting session covers the historical aspects of the sugar trade also the different stages of production, styles of rum, and the versatility of rum as an alcoholic beverage.

Sugarcane and cocoa are both grown in the same tropical climate and therefore have many similarities. Fine/flavour cocoa found in the Caribbean Islands stands out from the competition, it has unique flavour and quality attributes quite different from those found in typical bulk cocoa.
